Open Water Diver Course
During 4 full days of practice with your professional instructor, you will learn the basic skills needed to conduct independent underwater dives as long as you dive with a certified buddy.
With this level you will be able to dive up to 18 meters / 60 feet depth under the same conditions of your training and experience.

This course consists in an independent study you have to complete previous from your first approach to the water skills. You can do this study at your home on the e-learning option, or get the manual with us before you start your water practice with the instructor. Once you book the course and pay the deposit, we will contact you to know what option did you decided for.

The second section of the course consists in five confined water (or pool) sessions corresponding with each theory chapter. This sessions will be distributed throughout the three days you will be taking the course.

You will also have to do four open water dives to demonstrate your instructor that you have learned and mastered the skills you already practiced in the pool. This will take 10 to 15 minutes of each dive, then you will have time for fun and explore the reef together with your instructor.
REQUIREMENTS

10 years old or more.

Know how to swim.

Medical questionnaire sign (in case you answer a “yes” on the questionaire we need to have a medical clearance “fit for diving”)

Sign waivers.

Lunch and water out of the boat.

What IS included

Open Water Course Manual or e-learning code.

Equipment rental for 4 days.
Transportation (with insurance) from and to your hotel (if the hotel is located within Playa del Carmen) -
Theory lessons.

Certification fee once you have achieved all the performance requirements.
