Whether you want to try Scuba Diving for the first time, become a certified diver or continue to expand your diving knowledge, Mx Scuba has a variety of diving courses for you.

As an SDI training facility, we can offer you all the SDI e-learning programs so you can do the theory development part of each scuba course at your home and at your own pace, this way, once you arrive to Playa del Carmen, we can go directly to the best part of any diving course: jump in the water!

We can also teach the PADI courses, if that is your preference. We are here to support you through all the process of your development as a diver. 

Entry Levels

DSD

try diving

If you have only one day left, or if you are not so sure if diving is for you, The discovery scuba diving (DSD) is the right program for you. This program will not issue a scuba license, but will give you a great approach to the underwater world in just one day!

Open Water

This scuba diving course is the first level of certification course, meaning that by the end of the course you will get a diving license valid worldwide and with no expiration date. Click the button below to see the options for e-learning.

Referral

If you have completed all the confined water training sessions plus all the theory development in any other part of the world, You can come and make the 4 open water dives needed to complete your training and get your diving license.

Continuing Education

SDI Advanced Adventure

This diving course is the second level direct from the Open Water diver. The objective is to experience with different kinds of diving available around the world and to practice more scuba skills so you can master them and be able to make a bit more demanding kind of dives. SDI Advanced Diver

The SDI Advanced Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Advanced Divers.” If you meet the requirements, just make a couple of dives with one of our instructors and we will issue your advanced diver license. Click on the button below to know more about this program.

Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to be able to administer proper first aid and assist divers in the event of an emergency. Three days where you will learn self rescue and buddy rescue techniques.
